Hi there! My name is Dave Hu. I'm a digital marketer & indie hacker, and I'm thrilled to be the founder of Pagethatconverts.com.
I started this website in October 2022 because I noticed so many amazing start-up businesses struggling to create marketing pages that convert. I knew I had the knowledge and experience to help, so I decided to create this project as a way to share my passion and expertise.
I want to tell you a little about my journey to get here.
Creating a website that runs smoothly is no small feat, let me tell you. I discovered WordPress, a popular open-source website builder, after parting ways with an inefficient and costly website agency. However, even with a paid theme, I found that making everything work seamlessly was still a challenge. Without a coding professional, it felt impossible to get the look and feel I wanted.
But I didn't let that stop me. I spent three years self-teaching web development , and eventually, I figured it out! I could create websites that ran like a dream, but when it came time to design a marketing page, I'd find myself staring at a blank screen for hours on end. I was frustrated and embarrassed by my amateur copywriting and confusing design.
Thankfully, I didn't give up there. After years of learning and analyzing, I discovered some proven formulas that top-performing marketing teams were using to design sales pages that convert like crazy. And now, I want to share those secrets with you!
Along my journey, I've tried out tens and hundreds of website builders and related tools, and I can't wait to share the best tools I used with you.
I'm a firm believer that every young startup and founder deserves the chance to showcase their product or service with a professionally designed marketing page that converts.
